The Beethoven Hotel is more than just a place for comfortable rest – it is also a space for encountering art. Our interiors are adorned with original works by Wojciech Sęczawa, a distinguished Polish artist, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, and long-time dean of the Faculty of Sculpture.
Sęczawa’s work is marked by a subtle dialogue between form and emotion. His pieces – rich in expression, symbolism, and reflection on the human condition – bring a unique depth and artistic atmosphere to the hotel environment. Each work is not merely decoration, but an invitation to pause, reflect, and explore individual interpretation.
Guests can enjoy both classical figurative compositions and more contemporary, abstract forms. The exhibition has been thoughtfully curated to harmonize with the building’s architecture while maintaining its own independent artistic voice.
We warmly encourage our guests to stroll through the hotel and discover art that, though still, has the power to move.
This elegantly published book documents the presence of Professor Sęczawa’s work in a unique private art space – the Forest Gallery of Professors Marzena and Janusz. The album features photographs of the sculptures in their natural surroundings, along with artistic commentary offering insight into the context and meaning of each piece. It’s a must-have for art enthusiasts, collectors, and anyone seeking a deeper understanding of Wojciech Sęczawa’s creative vision.
